About the Peninsula Baptist Association
Who We Are
We are a network of churches who believe we can do more together than apart to impact the Peninsula region with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The things we do together include the following:
Pastor’s Fellowship – A gathering of pastors to pray with each other, learn from each other, develop ministry skills and enjoy a meal together. We believe that pastors who network with other pastors are more likely to have a strong and healthy ministry. We invite any pastor from our region to come join with us. We currently meet every other month on the second Wednesday at 12 noon. Contact us at pbapeninsula@gmail.com to be added to our contact list.
PAL Lodge at Eagle Eyrie - If you have never been to Eagle Eyrie Conference Center, it is a beautiful spot in the hills near Lynchburg, Va. Together, our churches own a large lodge at the conference center that is perfect for private retreats! It is also available for use during events held at Eagle Eyrie. The lodge may be booked for a small maintenance fee by calling Eagle Eyrie at 434.384.2211. Make sure they know you are with a PBA church to receive the member rate.

Equipping Churches...
Training Events – We provide events in a variety of ministry areas to equip people for the work of ministry.
Consulting and Coaching – Our staff is available to provide customized consulting in church health and growth for your church and one-on-one coaching for pastors and leaders.

For Kingdom Ministries...
Church Planting – We have created a great, supportive environment for church planters to begin new work in our area. This includes a new Church Planter Cohort, one-on-one coaching, help with the assessment process, and connection with a larger church planting movement.
Sports Camps – The PBA Summer Team assist our churches in providing quality Sports Camps throughout the summer months as a way to reach into their communities. These camps teach basic skills in a variety of sports, Bible study, worship and games.
Disaster Relief – We partner with the Baptist General Association of Virginia to provide critical relief during times of disaster.
